Peter joined Scan Optics in March 1983 as a Supervisor in our Customer Service area. His progression with the company has included management positions in technical support, customer service, and quality management. Peter was named Managing Director of the Scan Optics UK subsidiary in 1996. Prior to Scan Optics, Peter held an account management position with Scan Data (now BancTec). He has over 30 years of experience in scanning & imaging, data capture, data processing, and document management.
Alan is now enjoying his 3rd tenure with Scan Optics Ltd, having been with us since 2006. Prior to that he was with Scan Optics Ltd from 1981 to 1984 as a Pre & Post Sales Support Programmer and again from 1999 to 2001. The last period had seen Alan having progressed from the world of software into sales after lengthy & successful periods with the then Recognition Equipment (now part of Banctec), Tower Technology (now Vignette), Hays DEI (now RR Donnelley) as well as some Systems Integrators in the Document Processing industry. Alan's overall sales experience spans over 26 years and consequently includes scanning, imaging, data capture, document management and storage, retrieval and workflow.
